BitcoinOS brings smart-contract computation to Bitcoin using zero-knowledge proofs. Apps and integrated chains execute off-bitcoin, prove results, and settle on Bitcoin. These are compute-heavy activities. Users will pay fees in BTC for computation and verification. Those BTC revenues will be routed to buy BOS on the open market and permanently burn it, reducing circulating supply as network activity grows. Service providers that generate proofs, monitor integrity, and offer verification will earn BOS for their work, aligning incentives for performance and decentralization.
As more chains will bundle computation to Bitcoin via BitcoinOS, aggregate compute demand will rise—driving more BTC-denominated fees, more BOS buy-pressure, and more burns. The result is a native, deflationary value loop: BTC in for compute, BOS out of circulation—so scaling adoption tightens supply and accrues value to the network.
